Heidelberg is a charming town nestled along the River Neckar in southwest Germany. It is the home of University of Heidelberg, a world famous university.
We arrived in Heidelberg, by train, and were met at the station by our good friend, Dane. He drove us to our hotel which turned out to be on one of the main squares located in Old Town. Right across the square from the hotel was the
Church of the Holy Spirit, the most famous church in Heidelberg.
We were only there for few days but the cleanliness of the city and the friendliness of the people made for a very enjoyable stay.
